EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING

Early Childhood Screening program, a free and simple check designed to assess how your child is growing, developing, and learning.

We recommend scheduling the screening when your child is around age 3; however, screenings can be conducted for children between the ages of 3 and the start of kindergarten, as mandated by law.

What to Expect at Your Screening Appointment:

  • Duration: The appointment will last approximately 1 hour.

  • Components: During the screening, we will measure your child's height and weight, conduct vision and hearing checks, and perform a developmental screen to evaluate your child’s skills.

  • Parent Involvement: Parents will be asked to complete a social-emotional questionnaire about their child and participate in a summary interview to discuss the results of the screening.

What to Bring:

  1. A copy of your child’s current immunizations.

  2. Your child’s birth certificate.

To help us maintain a focused environment during the screening, we kindly ask that you leave any younger siblings at home, if possible.
